We’ve finally got our new Counter-Strike 2 Rulebook together and ready to go.
The main reason for putting this together was to make sure everyone knows where they stand when playing in our future CS2 competitions.
We’ve tried to keep things as clear as possible around how matches are played, scheduling, rosters, servers, disputes, forfeits and the general stuff that comes up during a season.
One of the bigger things we want to make clear is that anything relating to a match needs to stay on Invid.au.
If you’re organising a reschedule, agreeing to a server change or there’s an issue that could turn into a dispute, use the match chat. It gives both teams somewhere to refer back to and gives us something to work with if an admin needs to step in.
The rulebook is attached to this post, so if you’re playing on our platform, give it a read. Captains especially should have a decent look through it before matches get underway.
This will probably keep evolving as we run more CS2 comps. If we find something doesn’t work well in practice or there’s something we haven’t covered properly, we’ll adjust it.
