1. About these Terms

Invid.au (ABN 97 518 214 015) operates the Invid.au platform (the Platform). In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Invid.au.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any rules, guidelines or policies published for tournaments, ladders, matches, promotions or other Platform features.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 15 years old to hold an account on the Platform.

If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf before you register an account and before you take part in any event that we broadcast or record. We may ask for confirmation of that consent, and we may suspend or remove an account or event entry where consent has not been given or cannot be verified.

You must be at least 18 years old to pay an entry fee, hold a wallet balance, or receive a prize payout. Players under 18 may compete in paid events as part of a team, but cannot personally pay the entry fee or receive a payout. See Section 11.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform is lawful in your location.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity conducted through your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your details reasonably up to date, including a current email address.

You must notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorised access, suspected compromise, or misuse of your account.

We may require verification steps, password resets or security measures where reasonably necessary to protect accounts or the Platform.

4. User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for content you submit or publish through the Platform, including profiles, team pages, forum posts, messages, uploads, match submissions and other materials (User Content).

You agree not to submit, publish or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, hateful, deceptive, obscene, misleading, infringing, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.

You must not upload malware, harmful code, spam, scams or malicious content.

We may remove, restrict, edit or disable access to User Content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms, Platform rules or applicable law.

By submitting User Content, you grant Invid.au a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and use that content solely for operating, improving, promoting and administering the Platform.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the User Content and grant the above licence.

5. Security, Acceptable Use and Platform Abuse

You must not misuse the Platform or attempt to compromise its security, integrity or availability.

Without limitation, you must not:

(a) access or attempt to access accounts, systems, data or restricted areas without authorisation;

(b) test, scan, probe or assess vulnerabilities of the Platform without prior written permission;

(d) interfere with, overload, disrupt or degrade the Platform or related infrastructure;

(e) circumvent bans, rate limits, moderation actions or security controls;

(f) exploit bugs, loopholes or unintended behaviour for gain or advantage;

(g) impersonate another person or create deceptive accounts; or

(h) assist others to engage in prohibited conduct.

We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend access, block traffic, preserve evidence, remove content, reverse affected outcomes, withhold prizes or take any other reasonable protective action.

6. Fair Play and Competitive Integrity

Cheating, exploiting bugs, stream sniping, collusion, match fixing, account sharing for advantage, ban evasion, smurfing where prohibited, and other forms of unfair play are prohibited.

We may take action including warnings, match reversals, forfeits, score adjustments, suspensions, disqualifications, prize removal or permanent bans.

Anti-cheat enforcement relies on the anti-cheat systems supplied by the publisher of each supported game. We do not require you to install any Invid.au anti-cheat software. A determination made by a publisher's anti-cheat system may result in disqualification, forfeit, prize removal or a Platform ban, in accordance with the applicable game rulebook. 7. Tournaments, Ladders and Match Rules

Each tournament, ladder, event or competition may have separate rules, schedules, eligibility requirements, formats, scoring systems and prize conditions. Game-specific rulebooks are published on the tournaments page and in the forum.

You agree to follow those rules and any reasonable directions from administrators.

Protests, disputes and appeals about match outcomes and administrative decisions are handled under the process set out in the applicable game rulebook, including any time limits for lodging a protest. Where that process has been exhausted, administrative decisions are final in order to preserve competitive integrity, fairness and operational efficiency.

We may modify schedules, formats, brackets, maps, servers or event operations where reasonably necessary.

8. Skill-Based Competition

Competitions on the Platform are determined by player skill. Outcomes are decided by match results, not by chance, lottery or random draw.

Entry fees and prize pools are not wagers, bets or gambling.

Any giveaway, competition of chance or promotional draw we run is a separate free-entry promotion, is not part of any paid event, and is governed by its own terms published at the time.

9. Payments, Fees and Purchases

Some features, entries or services may require payment. You must be at least 18 to make a payment on the Platform.

Payments are processed by third-party providers, including Stripe and PayPal. We are not responsible for third-party payment systems, outages or external fees.

We may cancel or refuse transactions where fraud, chargeback risk, abuse, technical error or rule breaches are suspected.

10. Refunds and Cancellations

Entry fees are non-refundable once an event has started.

If we cancel an event before it starts, we will refund entry fees in full.

If we abandon an event after it has started and do not complete it or declare a result, we will refund your entry fee or issue equivalent platform credit, at your election.

No refund is available where you or your team withdraws, forfeits, fails to appear, is disqualified, or is removed for a breach of these Terms or the applicable rulebook.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Prizes and Payouts

Prize pools, prize splits and any additional prize conditions are set out in the event listing and the applicable game rulebook.

Results become final 7 days after an event concludes, allowing time for protests and reviews. We aim to pay prizes within 30 days of results becoming final.

For team events, prizes are paid to the account that registered and paid for the team entry. Distribution of the prize among team members is the responsibility of that account holder and the team. Our obligation is discharged once payment is made to the registering account, and we are not responsible for how a prize is divided within a team.

You must be at least 18 to receive a prize payout, and you must provide accurate payout details.

Payment processing fees may be deducted from a payout. Where a fee will be deducted, we will tell you the amount before you confirm the withdrawal. We sometimes absorb these fees as a goodwill gesture, but we are not obliged to do so and this may change at any time.

Prizes are paid gross. You are responsible for your own tax affairs in relation to any prize you receive.

If a prize remains unclaimed 90 days after we first notify you, and we have made reasonable attempts to contact you, the prize is forfeited.

We may withhold, delay, reverse or cancel a prize where we reasonably suspect a rule breach, cheating, fraud, chargeback abuse, or where an anti-cheat or integrity investigation is underway.

12. Wallets, Balances, Withdrawals and Fraud Prevention

Where available, the Platform may provide wallet, balance, credit or prize holding functionality (Wallet Services). You must be at least 18 to hold a wallet balance.

Wallet balances do not constitute a bank account, deposit facility or regulated stored value account.

Withdrawals are made as a full balance withdrawal. We do not offer partial withdrawals.

Identity and payment verification for payouts is carried out by our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal, under their own processes. We may require you to complete that verification before a withdrawal or payout can be released, and we may require age or payment verification or additional information before allowing deposits or transfers.

You must not use Wallet Services for fraudulent, unlawful or abusive conduct including chargeback abuse, multi-accounting, collusion, balance manipulation, payment fraud or money laundering.

We may place holds, delay, limit, suspend, reverse or cancel balances, withdrawals, prizes or transactions where we reasonably suspect fraud, technical error, payment disputes, duplicate credits, unlawful conduct or security risk.

Unless required by law, balances are non-transferable, non-interest bearing and redeemable only through approved methods offered by the Platform.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party services such as payment providers, voice platforms, game servers, analytics tools or social platforms.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, outages, policies or security practices.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts, access or features where you breach these Terms, Platform rules, applicable law, or where your conduct presents risk to the community, other users or the Platform.

Where it is reasonable and practical to do so, we will tell you why we have taken action and how you can respond. We may act without prior notice where there is a risk to the Platform, to other users, or to the integrity of a live event.

We may also remove usernames, team names, content or privileges where reasonably necessary.

You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account deletion, subject to legal, fraud prevention, operational or record-keeping requirements. Where your account holds a wallet balance at the time of closure, we will release it to you subject to verification and to any investigation then underway.

15. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including branding, logos, software, text, graphics, databases, design and original content, is owned by or licensed to Invid.au and protected by applicable laws.

Except as permitted by law or expressly authorised, you must not copy, commercialise, reverse engineer or exploit Platform materials.

16. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous availability, error-free operation, specific outcomes, prize availability or compatibility with every device, game or service.

Competition outcomes may be affected by third-party game servers, internet issues, player behaviour or operational incidents.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invid.au is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost opportunity, lost data or reputational harm arising from use of the Platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

18. Indemnity

You indemnify us against any loss, damage, cost or third-party claim to the extent it arises from:

Your User Content, including any claim that it infringes another person's rights
Your breach of these Terms or of an applicable game rulebook

This indemnity does not apply to the extent the loss or claim was caused or contributed to by us, and it does not limit any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where a change is material, we will give you at least 14 days notice by email to your registered address before the change takes effect. We may also publish a notice on the Platform.

Minor changes, such as corrections or clarifications that do not affect your rights, may take effect on publication.

Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept a change, you may close your account before it takes effect.

20. Notices and Communications

We give notices under these Terms by email to the address registered on your account, and may also publish notices on the Platform.

You are responsible for keeping your registered email address current and for ensuring our messages are not blocked or filtered.

21. General

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest of the Terms continue in force.

Waiver. If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of that right or of any other right.

Assignment. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a sale, merger or transfer of the Platform. You may not assign your account or your rights under these Terms without our consent.

Events beyond our control. We are not liable for failure or delay in operating the Platform or running an event caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages affecting third-party game servers, payment providers, hosting or network services.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the applicable game rulebooks, form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Platform.

Survival. Sections 4, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 22 survive termination of your account.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes arising in connection with the Platform are subject to the courts of Victoria, Australia.

If you are a consumer in New Zealand or another jurisdiction, nothing in these Terms removes any right you have under the consumer protection laws of your own country that cannot lawfully be excluded, or prevents you from bringing a claim in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
